Plus Ultra Líneas Aéreas participated in the latest edition of ANATO, one of the main professional gatherings in the tourism sector in the region, held annually in Bogotá. The Spanish airline presented its new route to Buenos Aires to travel agencies, tour operators, and suppliers, which will be added to its Latin American network in May.
During the fair, Plus Ultra’s commercial team held a full agenda of meetings with agencies interested in marketing the new connection. The route attracted significant interest from industry professionals, who evaluated scheduling options, seat availability, and distribution strategies in their respective markets.
At the same time, the airline held meetings with suppliers, tour operators, and corporate clients from Colombia, Venezuela, and Peru to discuss operational planning and opportunities to expand its growth strategy. Meetings were also held with the Colombian civil aviation authority to exchange information on capacity, network structure, and growth opportunities.
This summer, Plus Ultra will operate 23 weekly frequencies between Spain and Latin America, connecting Madrid with multiple destinations across the region. This schedule is part of the airline’s development strategy along the Europe–Latin America corridor and is tailored to the evolving demand in each market. The addition of the Buenos Aires route will further expand connections between Spain and the Southern Cone.
According to David Blázquez, the airline’s Commercial Director:
“Participating in ANATO is key to working directly with travel agencies and consolidators in the region. Our goal is to continue developing commercial agreements, expand our customer base, and strengthen distribution in markets where we see growth potential.”
Plus Ultra’s presence at this event is part of the airline’s agenda for participating in international trade fairs and aligns with its strategy for consolidation and expansion in Latin America.
