Plus Ultra Hosts the Aviation Psychological Support Program.

01/06/2026

For the second consecutive year, Plus Ultra Líneas Aéreas hosted a new session of the Aviation Psychological Support Program at its headquarters. The initiative is aimed at promoting the emotional well-being of aviation professionals through prevention, early detection, and specialized support.

The event brought together, alongside Plus Ultra’s Director of Operations, Alejandro Casado, representatives from ENAIRE, Air Europa, Vueling, SEPLA, Zenit (AlbaStar and Euroairlines), and the B-SI Group (Volotea, Gestair, Privilege, Canaryfly, Canair, Binter, and Naysa). The working session provided an opportunity to exchange experiences, knowledge, and best practices among companies and organizations across the aviation industry.

During the meeting, participants reviewed the latest developments implemented within the various support programs, discussed the common challenges facing the sector, and addressed the needs of aviation professionals. They also shared initiatives and tools designed to encourage healthy habits, facilitate the early detection of stress-related situations, and strengthen psychological support mechanisms.

These programs play a key role in promoting the health and well-being of flight crews and other aviation professionals. Among other benefits, they contribute to stress management, help mitigate fatigue associated with time zone changes and operational shifts, and address the emotional demands inherent in an activity that requires high levels of responsibility and concentration.

The holding of this workshop reaffirms the sector’s commitment to a comprehensive approach to operational safety. Beyond technical aspects, procedures, and aircraft maintenance, ensuring safe operations also means safeguarding the physical and emotional well-being of the people who make them possible.
