Operating result turns positive as sales rise 45%.
The airline maintains its goal of expanding routes and frequencies in Latin America and doubling its fleet in the coming years.
Plus Ultra Líneas Aéreas closed the first nine months of the year with revenue of 157 million euros, a 19% increase compared to the same period in 2024, resulting in a positive operating outcome.
The growth rate across all activity indicators also exceeds that of the first nine months of last year. Sales have risen by 45%, while flight hours increased by 16%, surpassing 15,000 hours.
As for routes, rotations are up 8%. The Spanish long-haul airline continues to maintain an aircraft load factor above 90%.
The business line dedicated to charter and ACMI operations (aircraft, crew, maintenance, and insurance) has increased its results by 27%, highlighted by the ongoing agreement with flag carrier Air Algérie and seasonal operations contracted by tour operators—particularly flights connecting the Polish cities of Warsaw and Krakow with Varadero (Cuba) and Cartagena de Indias (Colombia). According to company forecasts, “maintaining this trend through year-end would result in the best operating performance in its history.”
For Roberto Roselli, CEO of Plus Ultra, “the entry into service of the sixth Airbus A330, greater operational efficiency in fuel consumption and fleet management, and increased frequencies on our destinations have been key factors in achieving this result.”
The airline has just celebrated its tenth anniversary amid an expansion process aimed at increasing destinations in Latin America and doubling its fleet in the coming years. It recently announced the opening of a new route to Buenos Aires and will add its seventh Airbus A330 next week. Plus Ultra’s roadmap involves “strengthening commercial ties with travel agencies, capturing new business around flight-related services, and increasing market share in all countries where it operates.”
