Plus Ultra Líneas Aéreas has extended the cancellation of its flights between Madrid and Caracas until 31 January inclusive. The Spanish airline suspended operations on the Caracas route on 23 November, following the recommendation of the Spanish Aviation Safety Agency (AESA), which operates under the Ministry of Transport.
Prior to the suspension of flights, Plus Ultra operated five weekly frequencies between Spain and Venezuela from its two bases in Madrid and Tenerife.
Plus Ultra, like the other Spanish airlines operating between the two countries, currently has its license to fly to Venezuela suspended by order of Venezuela’s National Institute of Civil Aeronautics (INAC).
